Laugh Out Loud!

  1. Didn't really get the first one but I'm so sorry for the so-called rich guy in the second cartoon. If his broker is that pathetic, then what's his fate? Well, despite his state, he still has a phone so I guess the economy isn't so bad after-all.

  2. Funny! That's a good analysis. Okay, maybe the first is a bit cryptic for you. In many multicultural countries, foreigners often do the dirty jobs that the locals won't do. But in the face of the economic recession, locals are now running after the same jobs they felt were below their station. I appreciate your comment.

  3. I'm not sure the economy has gotten to that stage yet in the west. But when it does get there, what an irony! Especially the jobs that they have to do. But if the economy gets to that stage I trust the west, they'll quickly put a law in place making such laws allowed only for indigenes or something like that.

  4. I agree, to an extent, it hasn't gotten to that stage; but you never can tell. Thank you for your comment.

  5. Ha ha ha! The guy in the first cartoon went from a pompous, condescending high-flier to a down-trodden, sheepish desperado! Amazing the things a mammoth mortgage and p45 can achieve. Oh look, the ignorant hack speaking on the mobile phone doesn't even realise the street bum is actually his broker. Talk about irony!

  6. It is indeed an irony, Will. As the saying goes, no condition is permanent. Thanks for your fantastic comment.
